As always, I'm pumped for New Year's getaway! This time, I decided to take my Jimny to the stunning Lake Benmore in Mackenzie Country.Setting up camp at Haldon Arm, a quintessential Kiwi spot perfect for enjoying some beers, BBQ, and boating.

Now, let's delve into my setup:

Shelter: I opted for Ironman's 2x2.5m awning with an Awning Room and Net to match. This fully enclosed space offers privacy, shelter, and ample room. Despite being just 5 feet tall, I found it incredibly easy to set up and pack down. The integrated ceiling and floor that zips away for cleaning made maintenance a breeze. Plus, with three entryways and convenient access to the truck from inside the room, it was the perfect choice for me!

The extras: I made sure to bring along a 40L Ice Cube Fridge to keep my beers and food chilled, a Drifta Stockton Quick Fold Stretcher for a comfortable sleep, a Drifta Stockton Deluxe Reclining Camp Chair for relaxation, and a Robin Camp Light and Zipper for added convenience.
